Sorry but don’t order to go from their posted menu on their website. As when we got to the restaurant to pick up our food the price was 30 % more than listed and when we questioned it they said too bad! Although we’ve been a customer for over 16 years we will no longer eat there. We were extremely disappointed that they did not honor the advertised pricing. And said it wasn’t their website. Funny how it was their phone number and address listed. Good customer service would have possibly made it better but attitude was “too bad”!

This is our go-to restaurant for Tex-Mex. Wonderful staff, tasty food, and great prices. We prefer the enchiladas verdes and the la Carolina. Flavors are fantastic, and prices are cheap.

Love this place! Servers arealways friendly and the owners are so kind. Highly recommend the Tamayo dish or El Gordito fajitas. Yum!

Amazing food every time. And I didnt know the nachos came with queso cheese instead of shredded and they just replaced it. Appreciate y'all.

We had the beef fajitas. Rice and beans come with it. Good stuff, served quickly with a smile! More than enough for both. Typical Tex Mex family style restaurant.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service. We came into the restaurant at 9:15 (they closed at 9:30). Staff was enviting and friendly. They welcomed us, served excellent food and didn't rush us out of the restaurant. Couldn't ask for more!

It is average. Nothing I had was bad but nothing stood out either. There were lots of people there so may be it was just me.

Food is good. Prices are fair. Service is poor. They get caught up watching the TV and forget about customers.

The food here is consistent, and decent. Fair prices make it a come back, but usually when in the mood for a combo plate. Which you'll need some patience reading the menu and trying to discern the difference between the 100s of item combos.

This place is awesome. I prefer spicier food but still love it, even though it lacks the zest I prefer. It tastes like what it is, so don't expect it to be seasoned a lot. It is cooked well though and doesn't upset the kids stomach like other mexican restaurants do. They are very polite and have your food ready exactly when they say they will. They have forgot chips and salsa twice, but the cashier checks the bags and they noticed before I did. That's awesome. Everybody makes mistakes, but they catch them before it becomes an issue. I don't like giving five stars, but I genuinely appreciate the people who run this establishment. No affiliation.

I asked if I could order from the kids menue for myself and the waiter said yes. The plate was so small that it took me a whole 3 minutes to eat it. When the bill came they charged $1.50 extra. Asked for a to-go container for the queso and chips. The waiter brought a tiny paper bag for the remaining chips on the table. He did not give additional chips which every other Mexican restaurant in the entire city does, without having to ask, nor did he give a bag big enough to hold the salsa & queso containers. Horrible service once the food was placed on our table. I left a 18% tip, but now I regret doing so. Will never again go to this restaurant.👎👎

Food was good had good taste except the rice under cooked , but reasonable prices , place could use some dusting. Smiles on wait staff would be welcoming instead of a bothersome look on their face . Customer service could improve . does have plenty parking easily located and convenient. It's a cozy place for family atmosphere. will visit again sometime and update status. like to ALWAYS give it another try at least 3 times after that it will be what it is..

I have been eating here for over 18 years, it is my favorite Mexican joint. The servers are great and friendly. We spend almost every birthday here because they put a Sombrero on you, sing, and then put whip cream on your face and a cherry on your nose! The queso is great the burritos are great, fajitas are amazing, rice and beans are on point. Definitely worth a try if you've never been!

I've been eating here since I was around 4 years old and I'm almost to my thirties. This place is like home and then food is great. They also do alot for the community!

This a a great neighborhood restaurant with a large variety of items in the menu. Everything I have had has been delicious. Service is great, the staff are friendly, and prices are reasonable. The salsa is great!

Food was great. Went at lunch and the portions were huge! Really good bang for your buck. Salsa was great too. Will return next time I am on that side of town.

The Chicken Fajitas a la maria are so good. They have great queso and very good cheese enchiladas. They have that 80s mexican restaurant feel and the wait staff is very friendly and happy. If you have kids this is the place to take them on a Friday night.

Good Mexican food with an extensive menu. Lunch specials are under $10. Definitely better than chain restaurants and pretenders.

Amazing service and amazing food. The waiter remembered my wife's order as well as mine perfectly without ever writing it down as well as conversed with us and provided excellent and timely refills. I will be going here many more times in the future.

Good prices, super quick and friendly staff, fun atmosphere. Frozen margaritas are decent, food is just ok and the flour tortillas are bad. Need to be home-made. Place is very busy at times with lots of suburbanites who just dont know any better. I wish this place were really good as it is so close to my home.

Nicest, most authentic Mexican restaurant in the city. Mr Perez, his family and entire staff are the most friendly team we have ever seen. It’s our favorite place to eat out!

At least my top 3 best places to eat at. The staff is always on point, always filling your drinks and chips so there is no wait for that. The food is cheap for the amount you get, some of the competition is around 50% to 75% more expensive for the volume of food you get. And it is great food, it is not the best, but it is the best for $10. And the food comes out fast. Best way I can explain it is like paying $10 for food that tastes like $50.

This is not a restaurant for those used to eating authentic Mexican or Tex-Mex. No fresh tortillas. The food was not horrible but it was pretty bland. The service was good. All in all, if you are Latino you probably want to pass this one up and hit a taqueria somewhere closer to Houston.

We come here all the time. Margaritas are great and the food is consistently good. Also one of the few places where we order takeout and always get everything we ordered, no matter how big our order is!

Tacos are great, staff is great, always a great time when visited. Sweet tea is quite delicious.

The margaritas were strong and tasty. The queso was utterly boring. The entrees tasted fresh and came out unbelievably hot. The food was good but not memorable.

Super clean! Excellent service, good prices, great food. Can't give it a 5 with American cheese on my enchiladas, and a "puffed tortilla" that was a taco shell turned upside down, though.

OMG - Just ate there again today! Food is awesome and reasonable. Family birthdays are celebrated by eating out...this is my choice every year. 😉🎂
